Motherhood Uncovered

Welcome to my Blog! My name is Danielle and I began this journey with the hope to build a community of like-minded moms that need comfort, relation, and even a new recipe here and there. I enjoy being in the kitchen, spending time in the garden, and filling my days with grandma hobbies. I have a husband and two boys that fill my cup! We are a homeschooling family that loves being together. Whether it is playing in the backyard, going to the grocery store or even watching a movie, you bet we’re doing it together. This blog will soon be filled with my thoughts, ideas, knowledge, and most of all my faith. We serve a mighty God that makes all of this is possible through the strength and wisdom I’ve gained through my years of standing firm and being the woman I have been called to be. So why “Dough and Dandelions”? I have wanted to start a blog for so long but have been intimidated by creating a name that would stick and flow for what my life could turn out to be. I know one thing that is true, I will always be kneading some dough because homemade bread is a must! Secondly, a dandelion is special not only for its medicinal purposes but for the memories attached to them. My boys have always picked me a dandelion on our walks. How special is it that a child who owns nothing will find something to give to the ones they love the most. The two combined in my mind are a reminder of what my life truly consists of, full bellies and hearts!
